Melissa is a grounded and highly experienced instructor. She brings intention, breathwork, and presence to the poses and always brings variety to each class. She gives hands-on adjustments and is very in touch with each of the student’s needs in the class. Her playlists are dope too!

I have taken Melissa’s Thursday night candlelight flow+chill+restore for many weeks now, and every time it is a great way to end the week. The flow is a good workout and stretch, the chill is relaxed with deep breaths, and the restore goes deep into the body and soul. Her energy is very healing and her knowledge is very informative. Melissa really knows the technical science of yoga and also brings an enthusiasm to all of us participants that is infectious. The energy of everyone who comes to the class on Thursday evenings is felt throughout the room, and we all contribute to the great classes that happen every week. I am grateful to have had a couple of private sessions with Melissa and she has given great instruction to deepen my practice, as well as being very kind and flexible to focus on what I would like to improve. If you are in the area and haven't stopped into Inner Space yet, or travel to try out other studios and teachers, I highly recommend taking Melissa’s class.

We attended our first yoga session, at Inner Space Yoga, led by Melissa on Sunday. It has been several years since I’ve practiced yoga and have missed it terribly. I’ve made a commitment to myself to incorporate more yoga into my self care routine and was thrilled to learn Melissa is teaching again. Melissa is an incredible instructor. Melissa makes you feel so comfortable. My husband and I absolutely loved the open class. We will be returning again to Inner Space Yoga to take another class with Melissa this week.

I happened to stumble upon this studio while running errands a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. I was thrilled to have a studio in the neighborhood, so many went out of business during the pandemic. I signed up for ClassPass so that I could try it for free. There’s a plethora of classes offered, it was a tough decision..I decided to give Melissa’s “Flow+chill+restore” class a try. WOW! One of (if not) the best yoga instructors/classes I’ve ever experienced in my 6+ years of practice. I signed up for the monthly membership immediately after her class.
